How to Update a Chromebook
Chromebooks should keep themselves up to date. Occasionally they stop updating automatically. It's simple to manually update them.
- Login to your Chromebook and open up the Chrome Browser
- Locate the Settings button to the right of the Omni Box, it's the three dots, Click on the dots and then Help and finally About Google Chrome
- A new tab will open up. The top card will have the Chrome Version, currently 64. It'll have a button that says Check for Updates if there is a update available click the button and follow the instructions. If Chrome is up to date the card will say you are on the latest version.
- If there is an update it'll download after its downloaded you'll need to restart your Chromebook and that's it, you're done.
